Mix & Master Analog

What engineers will tell you about a quality song, it's related to the quality of the mastering. But you can't make a great master without a solid mix.

Mixing means ensuring all your sounds find their own place so they don't cause issues. A solid mix already has thickness, precision, clarity, and punch, and will sound powerful on its own. The mastering will be adjustments and loudness control. When I take your song, I arrange it so it sounds close the top mixes I get for mastering. This will give your song a professional look.

Analog mixing means that I will digitally prepare your song so it goes through my analog outboard (mixing board, hardware compression etc). The result is something that we can describe as fuzzy, warm, hifi/lofi. It gets a lot of colours.

The finishing it provides cannot be made with plugins. It is the ultimate way to get our mix to an aesthetic that is Pheek's signature. 

The Zaehl AM1 board has been designed by Michael Zaehl and Mark Ernestus. It is also what Ricardo Villalobos, Aphex Twin, and Jamie Liddell also use. It's a board custom-made for each client, so they are all pretty much unique.

Please note:

I can only work with one client at a time which means that when you book, there might be a queue of bookings. You can ask for a delivery estimate, but I can't control it, as each client replies at a different pace.

What you get with this service:

- 1 final analog summing at -3dBfs

Stems:

- This includes room for 35 stems. If you have more, you can group some or contact me for a price adjustment.

- Export them with your effects, but don't normalize them. 24b / 44.1khz is good.

- I don't do automations unless I need to fix issues.

Delivery:

• You can expect a first version within 24h or a bit more, if I'm busy. After I receive your notes, I usually send a new revision on the same day.
• Rush requests are billable. 
• I work during the week only.

Communication:

• I only take notes via email and will not accept notes from WhatsApp, Messenger, Instagram, or similar platforms.
• Please read the initial email carefully before listening and replying. I want to be as professional as possible, but I need your cooperation to do so.

Options:

- If you're confused with the option boxes, those are usually for recurrent clients so don't stress about it.
